Most of you will have already heard the news but I wanted to tell you my side of the story. Mum and Dad have been making some really big decisions recently; they have decided not to take any more wedding bookings for 2010 onwards. They are going to honour all the bookings they already have, obviously, and take bookings for 2009. After that I am free to roam my garden whenever I please, apart from when the house is open to the public which I believe will be the whole of April next year. I think I will go away for that month!
The main reason for this, so they tell me, is that Mum wants to concentrate on her wedding planning business, Tamaryn Wedding Consultants and Dad wants to concentrate on his loan business. Mum has just won first prize in a national competition where she has to design a wedding called “All things English”. She has a blog too on her website www.tamaryn.co.uk where you can read more about it. She is getting much busier so I am quite sure that was a deciding factor.
Dad had also told me, in confidence and I am not to tell Mum but I can share it with you guys, that he wants to have more time to go up to the gliding club. He is ALWAYS moaning about how he never has the time.
Not only do I get my garden back but I have also overheard Mum and Dad talking about getting me a friend to play with. I am sure they said it would be a girl which I great because then we can have puppies. So many people ask us if they can have one of my puppies but I am not sure I would want them to go to another home.
