Exciting things are happening at Eyam Hall during the closed season. We are giving the main hall a makeover. The main hall is where our civil ceremonies take place so we thought we would re-decorate to give it a lighter, brighter and more elegant feel.
We have worked very hard not to lose the 17th century feel as it is important not to lose the charm that people come for.
The changes include; new sofas (the previous ones were Ikea but keep that under your hats), new silk curtains, Parma Grey paint from Farrow and Ball and a new carpet to come.
We think it makes our antique furinture stand out more and brings a new lease of life to the main hall.
