Are you all upset with me?

Are you all upset with me?

I have been dreading writing this… are you all upset with me? I know I haven’t kept in touch with you for so long and I am very sorry!

So much has happened I do not know where to start… oh yes, lets start with MY 3rd BIRTHDAY! It was such as grand affair for a small fluffy dog (naturally). All my friends came over, Lulu, Jack, Buster, Dyson and my family (both Mum’s and Dad’s sides). In fact there were more guests than when one of the humans have a family tea. By the way, family tea is a rather important tradition in this house. Everyone comes over with presents and cards and Mum serves tea, cake and smoked salmon sandwiches, which always goes down well. Anyway, this was MY turn! Well I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw all my presents. I think Mum and Dad had bought me every present in Pets-at-home until Granny and Granpa, Grandma, Great Grandma Ginger, Auntie Jaimie, Uncle Piers and of course my very special Margaret turned up with their presents. I now have everything, even dog beer! I had a cake and blew out the big 3 candle. I had egg, smoked salmon and chicken sandwiches which are all my favourite things. It was amazing… I can’t wait till next year!

Next on my list… Easter! As you know the house is open at the moment, which is always a busy period (I never get much attention!) and it was Easter last week, which means it, is Easter Egg Hunt time! Mum and Dad hid lots of brightly coloured Easter eggs all over the garden and then proceeded to tell me off when I found them and thought they were a toy. I suggest they pick more subtle colours next time! Worse than that they also put a silly Easter bow around my collar and told me that our visitors would love it. That was true but come on Mum and Dad, I am a stately dog and it is not appropriate for me to be dressed up like a doll! As if that wasn’t enough, they started taking photos of me to put on my blog, which you can see here. I obliged because I am polite and, quite frankly, like posing! As you can see I have mastered the head-tilt! Paris Hilton would be proud!

I think that is enough for now. I don’t want to bore you. I will be back soon to let you know what is happening here at Eyam Hall. It is the wedding season next, which means I will be kept in the house every Saturday. I think I need to find a secret route out of here… I better go and scope it out!

Lots of love,

Bailey! xx
